Terms
Last updated 6 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and House of Videos when you use house-of-videos.com. Please read them with our Privacy page.
The service
House of Videos turns a brief you write into a finished video: a script, narration, pictures, clips and an edit, made with AI services. The film stops at each step so you can approve it or ask for changes. AI output can be imperfect, so review each step before you approve it.
Your account
You must be at least 18 to open an account. Keep your sign-in details private; you are responsible for what is done with your account. Tell us at contact@house-of-videos.com if you think someone else has used it.
Plans and credits
- Films are paid for in credits. How many credits a minute of film costs depends on the video model you choose, and is shown on the Pricing page and in the brief before you start.
- A monthly plan adds its credits each month and renews until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; the plan then stops at the end of the period you paid for.
- Plan credits you do not use carry over for one more month, up to twice the plan’s monthly credits, and then expire, oldest first. Plan credits are used before pack credits.
- Credit packs are bought once. Pack credits do not expire.
- When a film starts, the credits it needs are set aside. If a step fails on our side, those credits are given back. When the film ends, anything it did not use is given back.
- A film that has already started is finished on the credits set aside for it, even if you cancel your plan in the meantime.
- The free trial is one short film, with a watermark. It costs nothing and needs no plan.
- If a payment is refunded or disputed, the credits it bought are taken back.
- Prices include or exclude VAT as shown at checkout. Payments are handled by Stripe.
Right of withdrawal
Pending accountant review.
If you buy as a consumer in the European Union, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. Credits are digital content supplied at once: when you start using them, you agree that the service begins straight away, and you lose the right of withdrawal for the credits you have used. Credits you have not used can be refunded within those 14 days. Write to contact@house-of-videos.com.
Your films are yours
You own the briefs you write and the films made for you, and you may use them as you wish, including commercially. You give us only the permission we need to make, store and deliver them to you. We do not publish your films or use them to promote House of Videos without asking you first.
You are responsible for what you ask us to make, and for having the rights to anything you upload, such as a reference picture or video.
Acceptable use
You may not use House of Videos to make videos that:
- are illegal, or sexualise minors in any way;
- impersonate or deceive, such as presenting a real person as saying or doing something they did not;
- harass, threaten or incite hatred or violence against anyone;
- infringe someone else’s copyright, trademark or other rights;
- spread fraud, spam or misinformation presented as fact.
The AI services we use may refuse some requests. We may suspend an account that breaks these rules; if we do, we will tell you why.
Availability and liability
We work to keep the service running, but it may sometimes be unavailable or slow, for example when an AI service we rely on is. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.
Closing your account
You can close your account at any time by writing to contact@house-of-videos.com. Download any films you want to keep first. Unused credits are not refunded when an account is closed, except as described under the right of withdrawal.
Changes and law
We may update these terms. If a change matters to you, we will email you before it applies. These terms are governed by Romanian law, without taking away the protection of the law of the country you live in.
